The CIM 70 gate valve is manufactured in accordance with BS 5154 / B – PN 16 and can be used for Heating plants, Sanitary Systems, Plumbing services, Waterworks, pneumatic systems & steam.
BODY, WEDGE & BONNET : Forged brass. STEM & ETAL COMPONENTS : Machined from extruded brass.
PACKING : IT 200 to DIN 3754 suitable to max. temp. of 300C. GLAND PACKING : AF 15 heat resistant fibre (Asbestos free), elastomer, synthetic resin & PTFE suitable to amx. Temp. of 250o C. HANDWHEEL : Registered CIM Model in hard duraluminimum A1-SI 12 alloy showing “ON-OFFâ€. BSP Female threads. Integral seat in accordance with nominal dimension.
Hydrosttic test pressure : Shell 25 Bar (355 psi) Seat 18 Bar (258 psi).
